Better than an heirloom that everyone is afraid to use!

That turned out beautiful. I know it will be loved. Your FMQ is awesome. Thats a department I lack in. I should start learning it. I guess it scares me. hehe. You did a great job. :)

That is so cool. Love the back. It is interesting to have the back a pattern for the baby to enjoy. Congrats. They will love it and not even find a thing wrong with it, eyelashes or no eyelashes. It is wonderful and thoughtful

If you look at the very bottom of the close-up photo of my quilting, you will see little lines parallel to the FMQ line. "Eyelashes"" happen when your tension gets off or you move your quilt sandwich to fast while quilting. The top thread gets caught to the back with each stitch, and it makes little drawn threads that literally look like eyelashes. Not ideal, but, like others have stated, they happen.

Your quilt is adorable. I prefer to make quilts without patterns. You designed your quilt quite well and placed the pieces so
that they are perfectly matched and coordinated. The baby will love it.

Time to edit ran out, then I realize that where I said "parallel", I should have said "perpendicular". Sorry if I confused you even more.
