I painted the background from my imagination. ( I watch painting shows on TV) The rest was just as inspiration hit.

The book is called The Art of the Needle by Jan Beaney. It is old, published in 1988 by Random House. But the ideas are something we could translate to todays fibers and sewing machines.

VERY BEAUTIFUL!!! What brand of fabric paint did you use. I am working on my challenge and also want to use fabric paint but unsure of type. Keep up the good work!
