Quilt for dgd
 

My dgd graduated from high school in June. We gave her some money, then I told her that I was working on something for her. I have to get a hold of her today to find out if she is coming here for Christmas or not. If not, we will go over by her to deliver it. This is the first bed size (queen) quilt I have completed. I have one that I am hand quilting. This one is tied. Sure hope she likes it. The lighting here wasn't very good.

It was done using my fw. I sent a picture of it to my dd, and she asked when she will be getting hers. I told her that she will get one, but, I won't promise when. This is a fun pattern. Now I have to make 1 more like it (different colors) for my dgs. Then, I have 2 baby quilts to make. For the baby quilts, I think I will do pinwheels.

this is wonderful ! but I have found quilting not a money saving thing to do... my stash is never enough.. always missing enough to finish.. ect.. still spend.. :-/
