Quilt for first granddaughter

Our first granddaughter arrived in June. Shortly after I finished this quilt for her. Her name is appliqued and I used a chain stitch to add a little more of a personal touch. Looks much nicer than a zig-zag would have.

Very pretty! I love the pink camo fabric. Are her parents in the Army?

Very pretty! I love the lettering and stitch you used for her name. Thanks for sharing. Oh congratulations!

Thanks all... I was able to do the letters by printing her name on a poster printer I had access to. First I put fusible web on the pink cammo and then traced the letters onto the fabric. Then I used a pivoting exacto to cut the letters and fused them onto the base fabric. The chain stitch was chosen by my hubby. He wanted something nicer than a zig-zag for his baby gd.

The parents are not in the military but they do love to hunt and shoot.
