I found this at a garage sale yesterday. The older man said he had made it for his wife who has now passed away. Anyone quilt on something like this? I got it for $20. I put a small quilt on it and it seems pretty comfortable to use.

Never seen anything like it but it seems very sturdy and well made. If it works and its comfortable to use then its a bargain.

I like this. I have one that is like it only very rickety. This looks so sturdy and useable! Good find:)

It is very sturdy. Has adjusters for height and tilt of quilt top frame. |
That looks like a wonderful find! And since he made it for his wife...you know there's a LOT of love in it! I'm sure it made his heart glad to know that it will be used by someone who loves quilting like his wife did.

And it's pretty to boot! Good find! Love the foot rest.

At first I thought it was a rug hooking frame! It looks great...if you ever decide to sell it I would buy it from you for rug hooking!

I have one my husband made from an oval hoop. The base if very similar to the one pictured. I LOVE it! Being able to adjust the slant of the frame is great. I can do any size quilt on mine. I hope you like yours :D

I have one similar to this I got at the goodwill a few years ago...I love it!! For larger quilts I just use quilt clips to hold the rest of the quilt up and keep it from dragging on the floor. Enjoy!!!
