Quilt fresh off the rack
 

This is a christmas gift for my daughter. The pattern is Pandora's Box from the book Jelly Roll Quilts. The fabric is Diawabo Japanese taupe. I pieced the top on a vintage Singer 401 and quilted it on a Voyager. An all over meander is the extent of my quilting abilities, but I have fun doing it. Now I need to make the binding. I'm thinking maybe maroon.

That's what I thought too. Then my husband suggested that maroon shade from the quilt. I actually ended up picking a beige color from the quilt. I'll post a pic when I finish sewing it on.

Really pretty colors and like the pattern. I typically bind with a quilt color other than the border but I like both ideas for this quilt. Good job on FMQ...
