Felt compelled to share a picture of a quilt I made for a friend just after I took up quilting. Unfortunately my friend never saw this quilt as I was informed the day after I posted it to her that she had passed away (that same day). I have no idea what happened to the quilt sadly. Might make another one like this one day.

awww, that is so sad about your friend. But it's a beautiful quilt

I'm sorry about your friend and the quilt! The quilt is a beauty! I hope you can reproduce it!
|
Sad that you do not even know what happened to the quilt.
Maybe in the future..... |
A very nice quilt for a very nice friend. Hope it brings comfort to whoever has it now.

I am sorry for your loss. The quilt was a thoughtful thing to do. I'm sure she will look down and see it.

I would make another quilt. It might help with the 'closure' of the missing quilt. Love the pattern.

Very pretty.

Nice quilt

Beautiful quilt. Sorry for your loss

A very nice quilt and I am sorry your friend didn't get to use it! Maybe family have been so wrapped in taking care of things they just have not been in touch about the quilt. Prayers for you and your friends family.

I am so sorry about your friend. She would have loved her quilt as it is just lovely.

It's a beautiful quilt and I feel for you, as the same thing happened to me with my Uneven Log Cabin which I did a tutorial for here...I eventually managed to get the quilt back by contacting the person who was arranging her funeral as she had no close relatives..so now I have it as a keepsake of Jan, who never actually saw the quilt but knew I had made it for her..so sad ((((((((hugs))))))))
I would try and get yours returned too, if not, make another like it in remembrance of your friend  |
Beautiful quilt. So sorry that your friend didn't get to enjoy your gift.
