Quilt from garage sale fabric
 

A while back, I got some fabric from a garage sale (two full large boxes). This is my first lap quilt from that fabric. I got many, many yards and plan on making more lap quilts that will be sent to an assisted living center where my nephew works.

Beautiful and a great idea. I would like to do that but, I can't seem to make that small of a quilt.

Very nice, but I would put room numbers on it or something. Everything disappears where by BIL is. His new bedspread left, his wife's before she died at 74. I know my nephew took in new strips of dove soap and all of that disappeared. I think the employees take it. And it is a 5-star facility. I'm sure the patients would love them but I hope they are able to keep them. Happy Thanksgiving.
