This is one I just finished today for a little girl at my church who just had a bone marrow transplant. I don't know when I'll be able to give it to her because I think she has to stay in isolation for a while.

It's from a pattern I found in a recent Fons & Porter magazine as a leaflet insert. Very easy. I kind of pooped out when it came to quilting the outer border, lol.

Can you take it to the hospital and have them launder it and give it to her?

I'm going to find out when I can give it to her when I go to church tomorrow. I tried to make it as sturdy as possible because I figured it will be going through a lot of washings.

Thanks for all the nice comments everyone. :-) I wanted it to be bright and cheerful, but not TOO bright.

The finished size was 48 x 68. The blocks were 5 inches, I think. My memory is foggy today because I've had a rough day with a teething toddler.

I gave it to her mother to give to her this past Saturday. Her mom said that pink and lime green were her favorite colors, so that made me feel good.
