My DIL is expecting in November (will be there 5th) A boy!
She mentioned that she doesn't care for "cutesy, baby themed" items ((?? say what ??)) so I pieced a non-traditional top and have sent it to Charisma for quilting. Then 2 days ago I found out they are decorating the baby's room in a basball theme (specifically the STL Cardinals) I had already purchased several STL items for baby but wanted to make something baseball themed too. sooooo..... I found these "vintage look" baseball panels and finished piecing this top today. I hope they will like it. (32x42) Also whipped out a small bag to carry first-aid items for baby/toddler (and older... great when they play sports). Can keep it in diaper bag so it's always available when you're away from home. Even printed a card to list emergency phone numbers. PLAY BALL ! Judith - Thanks! Yes, I'm referring to 'Charismah' here on the board. She quilted quite a few for me I has never diappointed me, her work is fabulous!
Wish I could take credit for the "Boo-Boo Bag" idea..... but a friend of mine was telling me that her daughter purchased one off the internet, and described it to me well enough that I was able to create one. :) |
