Great quilt,I like the colors. I've heard that complaint about the 820 before. Might be an idea to check with your dealer.

tutt 07-03-2011 06:26 AM

I love all you guys!! You know just what to say to lift someones spirits and to keep them going when things don't meet their expectations! Embrace the flaws and move on to the next project.

Great Job.... I have a few that I practiced on too... You have to learn on something! FMQ take practice. I may be getting a long on soon... More practice in my future.

joyce blint 07-03-2011 07:22 AM

It's beautiful....looks like the Inspector likes it too.

CorneliaVa 07-03-2011 07:31 AM

Some critters are easy to please ....

But for a Quilt-from-H I think it turned out nice ....

Sorta like having a baby -- eventually you forget the pain and just enjoy the end product ....

Great quilt - love the fabrics. I laughed when you mentioned learning the Bernina. I took a few steps up last year and bought a computerized BabyLock which has sat with a dust cover on it. I have to travel from Chicago to Geneva to take 2 classes to learn it but feel I should first sit and know how to turn on/off first! I continue with my little Pfaff! LOL

MaryAnnMc 07-03-2011 02:15 PM

Well, it sure looks like it was worth the hassle to me. It's beautiful. And so is your model. ;o)

gellybean402 07-03-2011 02:23 PM

Been there done that! I ended up keeping mine from H as well! LOL!

luce321 07-03-2011 02:34 PM

Looks great to me.

ajohn52 07-03-2011 02:48 PM

Doesn't the Bernina dealer where you purchased your machine offer classes in learning how to use your machine? Mine does. And you should have gotten the stitch regulator with that machine. I have a QE440 which came with the regulator. Contact your dealer about the free classes. Good Luck!

Sandra in Minnesota 07-03-2011 03:27 PM

I think someone has claimed this quilt as his.

comfy is all that matters, right?

MargeD 07-03-2011 05:44 PM

I think your quilt has already found someone that loves it. Very pretty.

okiepastor 07-03-2011 05:45 PM

That is a NICE quilt--and the inspector sure apporves!

VernaL 07-03-2011 05:50 PM

Once you get used to your Bernina, you will love it. I just started using mine and doing FMQ. I found that using the Superior Threads Bottom Line really helped me. I even used some metallic on the top and the Bottom Line in the bobbin worked great. But, your finished quilt looks really great.

gramquilter2 07-03-2011 05:56 PM

Looks good to me and I think the quilt inspector likes it too.

Jingle 07-03-2011 06:35 PM
