Call it a learning experience and forget about it! If your DH likes it, that's wonderful! It's his quilt!

Sometimes, the wrong way looks better than the right way, as is the case here. And if DH likes it, do you really want to argue with THAT?

I think it looks great! So you used a zigzag stitch. Big deal. The end result is wonderful. Your DH obviously had good taste!

Everything we do with love, we are harder on ourselves then the recipient.

I personally love the look. It might surprise you that it stays together as well.

Like marriage, this quilt may not be what you were expecting. Give it time, it may grow on you. Let it show you who it is, vs what you want it to be.

OKay, its time to stop belitteling that poor baby. The quilt is loved by your husband so it cant be all that bad. Take the next 20 years and make a perfect one for yourself and see who stays the warmest in the meantime. Teehee

Hey I am with your hubby. It is still a very nice quilt although done in a non-traditional way. Use it as a utility quilt. Or donate it.
