Sometimes, the wrong way looks better than the right way, as is the case here. And if DH likes it, do you really want to argue with THAT?

I think it looks great! So you used a zigzag stitch. Big deal. The end result is wonderful. Your DH obviously had good taste!

OKay, its time to stop belitteling that poor baby. The quilt is loved by your husband so it cant be all that bad. Take the next 20 years and make a perfect one for yourself and see who stays the warmest in the meantime. Teehee

Hey I am with your hubby. It is still a very nice quilt although done in a non-traditional way. Use it as a utility quilt. Or donate it.
