With the help of my co-workers, we made this quilt for a co-worker recently diagnosed with cancer. Our goal was to create a quilt she can use during her treatments and know she was covered with our best thoughts and prayers.
Everyone contributed a four inch photo to be transferred to printable fabric; we then used strips of blue prints to create the blocks. I quilted two different rose motifs in the white spaces and cancer ribbons on the blue strips. We sent the quilt to her today and in return we have this photo. Just in time for her chemo treatments which start next week. Just wanted to share. Thanks, Mona |
