Nice way to use those panels. He'll love it.

Love the edge to edge pantograph quilting on it. Really pulls the whole quilt together.

Beautifully done and certainly fills his request. I bet he'll be thrilled.

That's a great quilt! Looks simple but from what you said, I bet it was a bear to quilt!

You did a fabulous job with the entire quilt process. I used the same panto on our grandson's Fancy Forest quilt, but as I don't have a longarm, had to trace it onto the backing with washable markers, then quilt from the back. It is a perfect design for your quilt too. He will absolutely LOVE it.

I love it. My son was a huge hunter/outdoorsman and he would have love it too.

All my guys are outdoorsmen and everyone of them would love this quilt. I made most all of them deer quilts one Christmas. Love the green you used. Where did you find that fabric? It looks so good , matches the fish scene. I love Minky for a back on a throw. It seems to hug you. You must have had to piece it though and make sure the nap is running the same direction, like I’ve had to do before. I could only get 58-60 inch width.😩Lovely job even though you may not have ‘enjoyed’ making it. I know he will be absolutely delighted.

Toogie, I was able to buy 90" Shannon Cuddle from the Fat Quarter Shop. No piecing required. The green is a Michael Miller fabric, pattern #DCX10244 Pine Texture. I bought it at a discount fabric store here in Minneapolis, SR Harris Company.

If he doesn't like it, send it to me!!!
He will treasure this quilt and...maybe if it isn't worn out...it will be treasured by his children too! |
Great quilt and quilting!
