OMG it's beautiful, it must have taken you a long time to practicaly make two quilts. You are awesome, I like the dark side. Great job

Doubly beautiful! Is it a quilt as you go?
What a neat idea. reversible. GREAT JOB!!!!
You did a wonderful job!! Love your little quilt tester. :D
Awesome!!! That is so cool, Love it!!
Twice the work but more than twice the effect, super Janstar!! :D
Thanks everyone! Yes it was a quilt as you go bj. It was quite an experience. A quilting pal talked me into putting the checkered strip in the border. I didn't want to cause I was tired of it, but I'm glad I did now.
That is simply beautiful. Quilt as you go as well, beautiful job

That's a wowser for the bowser too, huh? Really great job. I bet it was an experience. I've always wanted to try a quilt as you go.
Your reversible quilts are beautiful. Love your fabrics. Is this the Cotton Theory pattern?
Beautiful!!!! You did a great job on both sides!
Just beautiful! Love both sides.
Very pretty and pet approved too!
Blue Bell, I don't think so but maybe. A lady at our RV park in Yuma taught me how and I really don't know anything about the origin of the pattern. Sorry. Thank you by the way! Jan

Two beautiful quilts in one! So pretty! Your pup looks pretty proud too!
Aren't you the clever girl!!!!
I love this. It must have taken a long time to make this quilt. Yellow side is my favorite!

Great job! How did you manage to get the bindings lined up perfectly?
Wow! Just AWESOME!
Really neat!!
Moonpi, You sew strips of fabric that are different widths on a square of batting. When you finish all the blocks you square them up to the size you want, so they fit together very nicely. There's a whole bunch of other stuff to do too. It was several years ago that I did it. Hope I helped a little. Jan

Great work - I would be hard pressed to pick my favorite side. Love them both - thanks for sharing.
Jan, I love your quilts, but I just wanted to jump through my computer screen and give your bischon (spell?) a big hug!
Ditto to what everyone else has said...you've got the seasons done for Spring and fall???? what about winter and summer now????
Now that is cool just changes the whole effect of the room.
Just Awesome!!
A two-fer!! Beautiful job!
This is absolutely beautiful and I love the idea of it being reversible.
The dark side for fall and winter and the light for Spring and Summer! How on earth do you make this kind of quilt? Muriel AkA: AkAngel |
Beautiful quilt! I love the idea of reversible..you've done a great job with it. I don't have a clue how I would be able to match both sides together to quilt it. I guess the quilt as you go is the secret! Whatever it is, you mastered it!!!
I like the 2 quilts in one
