ruthrings 04-14-2012 06:11 AM

Gorgeous and generous!! Is the border a print, or did you make those curves somehow?

alikat110 04-14-2012 06:34 AM

Beautiful. what fabric line is that?

Sewfine 04-14-2012 06:50 AM

My thoughts exactly. I would be interested in learning about the border. It looks like shadows across the top of the body of the quilt. Very pretty. Know that it was appreciated. BrendaK

I've seen that pattern used before & have never liked it. BUT the colors that you have used in this quilt are gorgeous. It's really striking. I know someone is enjoying it as much as I have enjoyed looking at it. Please post pics of any other quilts that you do.

My thoughts exactly tho I'd like to know how to do the whole ball of wax. Pattern name? Fabric line?

Japanese lanterns are so elegant & these are just spectacular. And you were ever-so-sweet to send this beauty to someone who has suffered so much. In this case, I think karma is going to be a breeze!

There was an internet site that was collecting quilts for Japan. I sent the quilt to someone in Ohio (or Indiana) forgot which it was. They sent the quilts over to Japan. I signed my name and city and state, but still I'll never know who received it.

snownannie 04-18-2012 12:24 PM

Beautiful11Love the fabric.

Jammin' Jane 04-26-2012 10:16 AM

Astonishing quilt! :)

antylu 04-26-2012 10:43 AM

Love your quilt, the pattern reminds me of a child at home we had some lanterns for Christmas decorations; they folded flat but opened up to look similar to your quilt pattern. I think they were designed to go over christmas lights; boy I wish I could find some of those for our tree! Love your colors as well; thanks for sharing. Antylu
