The quilt that kicked me to the curb
2 Attachment(s)
This is the baby quilt that I posted about a while ago. It was a dream to piece and a nightmare to quilt. I hated it and couldn't wait to get rid of it. Now it seems less horrible to me, but still not what I wanted it to be. I'm hoping the expectant parents I'm giving it to are too tired to see all the mistakes! I do like the back, which I made up myself. I learned a lot doing this, but it was knowledge hard won!

The parents will look at it as a whole and think everything is just as you intended it to be. I love that you put color on the back too. Baby will enjoy that.

I love it. I don't see a thing wrong with it, they won't either. It is very pretty.

I think it is really cute.

It looks delightful. I can't imagine that they wouldn't love it. I know a baby would love it.

What was so tough about the quilting? I love it. Those colors are fabulous.

A nice, happy quilt. Baby will love the bright colors and parents will love it too. The back is clever.

It's hard to explain, it was FMQ, which I'm just a beginner with, and the thread broke a lot and nothing looked the way I wanted it to. Very frustrating! I think I need some one on one coaching with someone who really understands FMQ.
