Look what I got in the mail just now. My DH asked if I wanted Snow Boots or the Quilt Kit. The Quilt Kit won Hands down. Now I never did a Quilt kit before. I'm going to do a sample block first so I make no mistakes. Wish me luck.

Ooh beautiful kit - what is it called I can't quite read the name on the pattern. However I see it's from Connecting Threads. You can spot their fabrics a mile away.

I here your having it cold over in the US. It's turned chilly here again today with very high winds. Much better to stay in & sew I agree.

heat wave this morning, only -5 degrees F. I don't even want to go out for groceries. I actually put on socks and slippers in the house, I hate wearing shoes!

Who has time to wear snow boots, when you have such a lovely quilt kit sitting there just waiting for you to get started!! Good luck with your practice block & remember to share with us, as your get it going. :D

You won't need the boots! You will be too busy making that beautiful quilt!

You made the right decision! Strap some leftover batting and Hefty bags over your feet if you need to go out!

Oh--that's a great one to get! I admired it when the catalog came. I can't wait to see it.

Ha Ha...sure had to laugh....my sister told me I needed new shoes.......ahhhhhh my shoes are fine need new fabric.....:-).....that's what I told her by cracky.......we had the same shoes and she threw hers away 3 years ago.....so I figure mine are 4 years old...only wear them in the winter ..so that makes them two years old....got a couple years left I figure....:-).......You enjoy your new kit girl.....that's more fun! :-)
