I think the mauve will turn out good...for your first pieced quilt, girlfriend...you did GOOD!!! So, I'm ready for the next pic. :lol:

DH my QC(pick which one, Quilting Coach or Quality Control) says he does not like the mauve as the last border. Going to go today to see if we can find one HE likes. He wants RED or Maroon. ughhhh

Actually, I think a purple to pick up the butterfly wings would make them really sail :wink:

Yea I wish I had some purple that would solve my problems for sure. Only purple I have is flannel.

Oh my -- that quilt is just turning out gorgeous!! Can't wait to see what your QC picks as the outer border!! :D :lol:

Tell the QC coach he needs a color class. No red, LOL.maybe a mauvy maroon but i would try and stay with the colors already in the quilt and go with the mauve.

Gday Krazy4quilts, i was looking on the QB for quilt spacing and found your quilt you and a friend were making together. Looks beautiful, but there wasn't a finished picture of it. What colour did you go with in the end for the borders and did you take a final pic. would love to see it. you have done a beautiful job. Love it. Pennyj :)
