I've gotten a little more organized and finished some UFOs.. or whatever you want to call them...
Took some quilts (first time for that) to a longarm quilter who is just learning so we both benefit... (the bluebearpaw and the purple fan)
plus I've updated some of my pictures for other quilts that I finally got finished.
There are still some 'just tops' on the page - I'm hoping to get all caught up on the tops that I have put back...

oh yeah, and a couple pics of the 15-90 we found on the way home from Arkansas last week.

Nice quilts!
That machine looks just like the one I have. It was my grandmothers. It sits in Courtney's room and has alot of her choctskis on it. Mine has the stool that goes with it. It doesn't have the book anymore, but still has the foot pedal AND the button holer!

I dunno. Probably not since it's so old.
I actually used to sew on it when I first learned how to sew.
My grandmother made sails for the fishing boats with it.

Wow, beautiful quilts, you have been busy. Your army quilt reminds me that I have a collection of Navy and Army fabrics in honor of my husband who did 20 years in the Navy, my son is currently in the Navy in Pensacola, FL and my oldest daughter is in the Army reserves getting ready for a second deployment, this time to Iraq.
You are an inspiration. Thank you

Beautiful quilts. I just learned in the last few months how to make that star in the friendshipstar quilt. It was one in our BOM class. I am thankful for a friend who brought her special tool over for my sis and I to use. It made it so much easier. Several woman quit the class because the got too frustrated.

Wonderful quilts!!!

I just got back from a week of whale watching... I would call your blue log cabin quilt... "Whales' Tails!"

My goodness you have made alot of quilts and I can't decide which is my favorite so they ALL ARE>

Cordelia 07-08-2008 08:33 AM

You made ALL those quilts? You go girl!

Hey, I like that after the rain quilt a lot! I made a tote/handbag with that material and gave it to my niece for Christmas.

She doesn't like it, however. It wasn't her taste. Well, you know how it goes.

In fact, she wanted to return it "in case I want to try to sell it at a craft fair."

I suspected she didn't care for it. But, I NEVER thought she'd have the audacity to give it back.

That's just bad manners.

Oh, well. What can I say? I didn't raise her.

Oooh, I especially like the painted animals with the N American animals. How did you do that?

Harmony 08-09-2008 10:23 PM

I see that I've already posted on your thread. My opinion is the same--you have an amazing array of quilts where! Nice work!
