Quilt progress on those Dresden Plates
 

Here's how far I've gotten...been a busy week for me. Now I am trying to hunt down the material to get more for a final border.
In the plain squares I will hand-quilt the quilting design.

And since I cant stop myself here's the grey and yellow one!

How do I get a template. Are those appliqued onto the squares?

Those are very pretty. I have a piece of fabric picked out to try my hand at them. I'm anxious to see if I can get various ones out of the same piece like you did.

Very nice, is it fair to say that you are hooked on Dresden Plates? I think we all get hooked on something at one time or another, whatever floats your boat.
