I live South of Olympia, but when I drive to Vancouver, Wa ( I was born and raised there) there is one spot where I can see Rainier, Adams, St Helens and Mt Hood. Nothing like the Pacific Northwest :D

just want to get my two cents in, :D I live So of Seattle, came here from Yakima a year ago, lived in Tri-Cities prior to that annnnnndddd lived in Vancouver Wa in the "70s and still have freinds there!

Lovely quilts. Shows are the best fun - especially for a Girls Day Out. I get sooooo inspired, but also humbled when I see the work there. A group of us in the Central Valley of California went to The Best of the Valley Quilt Show in Tulare this past weekend - really fine, fine work there. In January we went to Road to California in Ontario - very, very crowded, but the eye candy and non-stop inspiration was very worth it. Even if you have to drive a long way to go to a show, it is so very worth it.

Wow those are such lovely quilts it's a wonder they were made from fabric at all. Talk about a somewhen quilt. :lol:
