Quilt for Soldier
 

Long story short, I tried before to post pics, but may actually have succeeded! This is a quilt for a soldier. They don't always want to be reminded of what their job is. So, instead this is in his fav colors!

I love blue and yellow quilts, and I know he will love it too. Thank you for making a soldier a quilt, I always say that when times are bad just wrap up in a quilt, and it is like getting a hug. Tell him it is like getting a hug from home. Tell him I will keep him in my prayers, and thank him for his service.

Thanks for all of your wonderful comments. Incidentally, when I had two left over blocks, I made a pillow and gave it to his mom. I told her that she can either forward it to her son or she could keep it. She cried and decided to keep it. Whenever they skype, the quilt and pillow ties them, as both can see the other objects in the background. Love how the good vibes continue on.
