Really a cute kid's quilt. Treasure the thank you note because it is truly special.

It doesn't get any better than that thank you to know that your work and thoughtfulness was greatly appreciated. That's one of the reasons I quilt - like seeing the joy on our DGD face Christmas Eve when we presented her with a quilt for her "grown up" bed; then the big hug and kisses.

His thank you is priceless. Just knowing how much he enjoys it is a blessing.

Your quilt is great, and so thoughtful.

Gifts from the heart - both the quilt and the thank you note!

This little boy's "thank you" brought tears to my eyes. Obviously sincerely written and meant! Children are not always taught this kind of courtesy these days, and it's wonderful to see that these parents have done that and that this child has learned how to express appreciation and gratitude. Love the quilt you made for him, too! The bug fabric is terrific, and perfect for a boy!

Thank you all so much for the wonderful comments! I saw his mom today and told her about the comments and she said again how much Roan loves his quilt. Such a nice little guy. Anyway, since someone asked, I do tie off and bury the threads. I try not to stop and start, but "go back over" previous stitching. I use polyester thread so it's less noticeable when you go over and over the same area.
