Beautiful quilt! It'll be very warm! Love your Longaberger baskets!! I have the same wrought iron table & basket. They're great for storing all our sewing items in them!!!

I have found that a serger is the best way to go for flannel, coruroy and velvet. This takes care of fraying and slippage. You do have to hold either end of the block at the same time as you serge it.
We have a group that makes charity quilts for all over, where ever there is a need. We take any and all donations. There were enough corduroy 10" blocks for 21 quilts but no one wanted to sew them. I serged them into 40x50 quilts without any problems. |
HI Karen
Thank you! You can make this blanket quickly. All I did was press it, lay it out and cut it into strips as wide as my ruler. Sew the strips together and done! Happy quilting! |
Very pretty, I like the pink and I'm not a pink person.
|
Connie, take another day or two & you can sandwich & quilt this beautiful top. I know it will be a great comfort to her & flannel is so warm in winter time. I know you really love her & tell her she has great taste in fabrics.
