very pretty quilt, so many beautiful quilters on this board I wish my brain would kick in and start putting together a quilt without having to follow a pattern and it's not like I don't have the stash I look at it but nothing comes to mind unless I have a pattern

Nothing wrong with needing a pattern...all quilts start out as a pattern! That's why we have mags and books......

Missed the part about cutting the 100 yds.....did you cut....... Are they 4.5 squares and 2.5 strips? Great way to play......love it.....

Love your quilt , big question did you use the same fabric many times for different blocks? I just have to know since you used 100 yards to do this quilt. I also really like your pattern.

OK, NOW you got my attention, .......

no,no,no I cut 100 yds of different fabrics into strips and used some of each of the 100 in this quilt. The pile of strips and squares will make about 11 queen tops.

I just love your quilt. To me, that symbolizes exactly what quilting is all about......taking a pile of scraps & turning it into a work of art.

Thanks for letting us know the sizes. Love the way you put this together. Are you keeping it for yourself? Cutting all those strips really paid off. I remember that post and thinking about how you have "stick to-it-iveness." Mine got lost somewhere! Just an awesome quilt!

A friend of mine saved all her son and daughter's p.j.'s and wants to have a quilt made from them. I think this layout would be perfect for her. Thanks for sharing.
