I've never seen that pattern either. Does Sewbizgirl have a pic of the one she saw in Kentucky? I wonder how Harriet would quilt it? Could you avoid the Y seams if you split the triangles?

Wow! That is amazing. I would call it “Round and Round You Go” ( where you stop nobody knows). I am working on Pam Buda’s 1800 quilt. 9 patches are 2” square when in the quilt. It’s a lot more fun than I thought it would be. I might have to add this to my long list! I love 30’s and Reproduction fabric and have enough to make many quilts. Don’t we all?
