Wow- 88 years young!! That is quite an accomplishment for your grandma. Family parties are very fun - its a quick way to get caught up on all the family happenings. At ours the little kids like to see if they are now taller than my sisterinlaw and myself. I can still punch them pretty hard hahahaa...not really, they tend to punch back...

Please, Henry, your Grandma is such a treasure and I hope you can share her birthday with the rest of us and post pictures! I hope this means she's been feeling better?

Cross Quilt Info
===========
Blocks are 6" by6"
There are 30 of them that make up this quilt.
The inner border is 5"
the outer is 3"
The blocks used are rolling stone 2, Greek cross and card trick. I think this quilt looks best in pastels. I tried darker colors and didn't like the results. So thats why i went pastels.

Of the fabrics used. the mostly white 96 patches so 1 1/8 yd material
yellow 84 patches 3 1/4 yd material
yellow dotted 48 5/8 yd
green 48 patches 5/8 yd
white with the red and other color dots in it 64 patches and 7/8 yd
lighter pinkish fabric 48 patches 5/8 yd
red 4 long strips 2 1/2 yd
purple 298 patches 2 3/4 yd
blue 32 patches 5/8 yd

I hope I got it all down there for you.

I love the info that the Wizard gives for your quilts. I like to print out my design, each block with rotary directions, and the specifics for each quilt I make. I take the fabric info to the store with me and buy what I want from that. Very very easy. :lol:
