Attachment 626074 My time spent during the sheltering. The back story. It started when my place of work closed and I thought I would be out of work for a while. within two weeks my boss called me and four others back to start sewing masks. We became essential workers, making over 7,000 for people in our local hospital. We also made non-essential masks which we sold online and the proceed from 700 masks was donated to help feed hospital staff. We somehow got tagged as the outlaws and my wonderful boss printed the center panel of this quilt I made using some of the scraps from all the masks we made. I did a jellyroll race with 1.5"w strips and after it was big enough, cut it into eighths and turned them and reassembled so it would look as confusing as the times we are living in. I titled it: Con- fused peace |
Great quilts! Kudos for your mask production!

Love the quilt....
|
Perfect! Wow--that is a lot of masks! Love both quilts.

That’s really cool. I like how the white pieces guide an otherwise “confusing” look.
|
Very nice quilts.
|
Is this one quilt front and back, or two? I really like the second picture best.
|
Great quilts! I want to know where you work that you were able to be called in to do this!

Great quilt. Happy you could continue to work.

Great job on both quilts...thank you for sharing their back story and about all of the masks you have been making. Sounds like you have had no trouble keeping busy.

Wonderful quilts.

It feels as if the world has been turned upside down and shaken. Your quilt is a perfect expression of that!
|
Great quilts, I love your background. That backyard space looks very serene.
