I love it & you done a great job on it. I am sure it will be truly loved by the person that receives it. Everything about it is great. You are such a kind person for making this for such a deserving person.

You did a good job anyway.

QuiltnNan 05-19-2016 06:02 PM

nicely done

Terricat 05-19-2016 06:23 PM

Actually I like it too, I think it makes a very nice QOV. I have a certain jelly roll that I plan to use for a quilt of this kind, but it just hasn't made its way up my list of Sooner than Laters. :)

I like the stars in the corner. I am with you, I found that I didn't care much for the process because mine didn't turn out nearly as pretty as yours.

bepositive 05-19-2016 06:40 PM

It's BEAUTIFUL and sure to be loved by whoever receives it! I really love the stars in the border! :)

Jane Quilter 05-19-2016 06:43 PM

Your first QOV, first quilt, or first jellyroll race?

lynnie 05-19-2016 06:46 PM

Mariposa 05-19-2016 07:09 PM

I agree, I don't care for the Jelly Roll Race quilt, but yours looks great. The Stars in the border were a great touch. Good job.

gingerd 05-20-2016 02:31 AM

I haven't made one of the jelly roll quilts.

I do like the stars on your border!

joyce888 05-20-2016 03:16 AM

Good job! I'm not fond of the jelly roll race either but you've added elements that give it some interest - the borders and stars.

twinkie 05-20-2016 03:17 AM

Very nice looking quilt.

First QOV and first jelly roll race. I had the hardest time getting it square, which may have been due to the strips themselves. I must say that it went really fast though.

ManiacQuilter2 05-20-2016 04:45 AM

I am not a fan of jelly roll race either but you did a lovely job especially adding the stars in the border.

Bug Lady 05-20-2016 05:38 AM

I love it and know what you mean about the jelly roll race. But here's the thing, your boarder is just great by using the light color fabric with the stars!!!!! Nice Job.
