I love it where did you find the pattern? wonderful fabrics
It measured 21 x 28" and my DH framed it with plexiglass and used rough cut redwood. They were thrilled and when I saw these I thought they would be perfect for our veterans. The piano key border just seemed to fit so well with the cross. Several members of one of my quilt guilds really loved the cross so I made a paper pattern on graph paper. If you PM me your e-mail I will try to send you a copy. Thanks for the kind words. |
What a beautiful cross quilt,,
|
twinkle is it possible for you to put the graph pattern up some how, for those of us who would like to make them.
By far the best QOV quilt I have seen, a great work of love for your church veterans. Thank you for sharing |
I have neither criticism nor suggestions- I think it's lovely.

Each year I try to make a little something for our veterans at church. Last year I made them each a patriotic CHRISTmas ornament. This year I got the bright idea of making each of them a lap quilt. Silly me. Well, I have just finished the first top and thought I would show it before it is off to the quilter. Please let me know what you think. I can take the criticism/suggestions.
This is a close up of the cross. It may look a little crooked but it isn't. I promise Now just 5 more to go. Thanks for looking. |
No criticism from this quarter. It's great! How many will you make?
|
Nicely done!

Trying to answer the questions posted to me. I will make six of these lap quilts before November. And yes I will try to post the pattern I drew. I will have to scan it.
