Quilt for veteran at out local hospice
1 Attachment(s)
Tried volunteering at our local hospice as a thank you for the wonderful way they treated my sister but after almost a year had to quit. It was hard to get to know people for a short time and watch them go down. So I was asked to make a few quilts a year for veterans who go live at the hospice facility. So here is a Wickedly Easy quilt in patriotic fabrics that I accumulated from the fat quarter swap on the board and a few I purchased.

Very nice. I have that pattern printed and am looking forward to using it--yours is great!

It's lovely and will mean so much to the recipient. Working in a hospice environment is no easy thing, so bless you for even considering it. That one year will have meant a great deal to those you came in contact with, even though you might have thought differently.

came out great and will be greatly appriciated
|
lovely quilt and so many different fabrics. Im sure it will bring such comfort.
|
Very nicely done and maybe this job will suit you better and give the veterans some comfort. One of my new friends was a hospice nurse. It takes a really strong person to do that much difficult work.
|
That is beautiful....
