Here's what greeted us as we arrived to the Quilt Show last weekend ..... just what every quilter needs to dash around in.
Yes, it's fully quilted, and slides over the car. Windows had a screen fabric, so it can be "driven"! Though you would need someone to slide it over after the driver was in place. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a photo of the top. It was quite an intricate applique pattern on the full roof. The Guild President made it herself .... and rushed to have it done for the show. Nicely done!!! :) |

My friend who lives in Florida sent me a picture several years ago of a car just like this but I think the car was a different make and model. The quilt guild made it for advertising and drove it around town so the residents and the vacationers could see it and maybe come to the quilt show. It is an awesome sight isn't it.
