Quilted Dining Table Cover

I decided to make a custom sized quilt for the dining table. 120"x70" was a beast to quilt on my domestic. I used variegated blue thread and serpentine stitched horizontal lines across (to resemble ocean).

That is lovely. Good for you to quilt all that fabric.

Great use of fabric! Loved this line when I saw it, you did a fantastic job.

Beautiful fabric and table cover. What a job it must have been to quilt it on your DSM.......you did a great job.

Wow, that is so colorful. Looks like you like blue. Great job!
|
Neat idea! Although it might need more washing than a quilt in my house!

Very cute.

I agree, great use of fabric. I love the tropical colors and theme. Nice work!

Good job! I love the fabric and the way you showcase it in this quilt.

Great colors to brighten up the dining room. Morning coffee sometimes isn't enough, right?

Great quilt/table cover!

What a beautiful table cover. Does it get replaced by a tablecloth when the table is used for a meal?

Thanks, all. It does not get replaced for meals. We use rigid placemats. Used one for my Valentine roses!

It’s wonderful! I have made a stack of seasonal “table” quilts over the years and my family loves them. We don’t always eat on them in terms of daily use, it sort of depends on what the meal is! They are easy to pop on and off, We do enjoy how they brighten the kitchen.
