Sandy, I used the 1x size which has a longer length. It is a perfect length covers my bottom. I wanted to make sure it fit with a sweater underneath, that's why I went with a size up.

Thank you all for your lovely comments. I'm in the market for a mannequin that is a bit larger then those you find on-line, so I can take better photos and use it to fit better. Any suggestions?

Beautiful jacket - I see that you must buy it from a shop, is that right? I don't see Morning Glory offering anything but wholesale.

Marti, yes I had to buy it from my LQS. I believe they have a list that they wholesale to. I bought mine at the Quilted Crow in Boxborough, MA. They have a website and some awesome flannels.

Oh, this is VERY nice. I also wonder if it's heavy. I have a pattern that I'm also planning on using flannel. But, I want to make sure it's very warm and light. Anyone have a suggestion as to what kind of batting to use to accomplish this?
