I bought the kit almost 2 years ago at the Quilt Expo and was determined to make it - thus not waste the $ invested. The pattern was kind of difficult for me to follow - making it a pain, but all in all I'm pleased with the results.
I used a single layer of flannel as 'batting' on the front & back. No flannel in the sleeves. Fully lined - and added an inside pocket. =) The back is the same color as the sleeves - both are quilted with a diamond grid about 3" apart - echos the design on the front. I ever make this again - it will be a vest. =) FYI - pattern info/designer here. http://www.jenniferamor.com/shop/Jac...et-x662246.htm She offers it in several colors - I picked the blues/teals. The purple one is beautiful, too. This is #2 project on my 2020 list of things i want to work on this year. WahoO! Feel like I'm on a roll!! Enjoy! Donna Mc |

I am so glad to see it finished. You have done a beautiful job. It doesn't look like you struggled at all with the pattern. Just beautiful and well done.

Beautifully done- be prepared for many looks and comments when wearing it.

Very pretty jacket. I have only made one jacket before & it was in seasonal Christmas colors. I wish I would have done like you & made it with fabrics that are "year round". Thanks for sharing it with us.
