A Quilted Jacket for prototype

I am always cold, miserably cold, when everyone else is comfortable. So decided to whip up a jacket to size the "real one" for Christmas. Haven't done garment sewing for a while and I used some of the stash to make this. I remembered to make sleeves longer than pattern, but will make the next ones even longer as well as the overall length, although I don't usually wear this top under it. This was made with strip sets and flip and sewed onto a foundation. I learned several things and hopefully the next one will be better.

Very nice jacket. I made one that is similar a couple of years ago. I used a sweatshirt as my foundation. I took off the ribbing and cut the shirt apart and used those parts. I really enjoy my warm jacket almost year round.

Lovely jacket reminds me of one I tried to make years ago. I really like your colors as well.
