This is the kingsize quilt I made as a swap for the man who built my gazebo. It was done in 4 different sections on my Janome. I used basting spray to help hold it together while I marked it, then pinned, pinned and pinned. It took me 3 months to do.

That is beautiful. I love the colors. Great pattern and the pillows are the finishing touch.

I LOVE it!! When you said king sized, I was thinking the size of the bed. That came out terrific! Good job.

Deb, it's absolutely gorgeous!! If my eye is telling me right, is the leaf fabric you used, the same as the leaf fabric that I made your QB blocks out of? :D How could this be? I can't believe that we picked out the same fabric. It's wonderful!!
:D :D :D :D

Nah...I may be short, but I am not stupid. My gazebo is definately the better of the deal. There are pics of it someplace on this site. He had to work in the hot sun - haul the lumber by himself, I was able to sew in a cool room, with tv. It took him 18 days to build it, so time wise it did take me longer.

He actually designed the quilt himself, I suggested some changes as I went along. I made pillow shams as well, he didn't know what they were....but loves the addition to the bed.
