Here are two of the enlarged quilted portraits that we have done. Gabriel's photo was snapped by her grandmother and it was so beautiful that we enlarged it. It is machine quilted. The face and hair have a sculpted look wit its quilting while there is a kind of meandering all around her.
The portrait of my brother-in-law, Jerry, was done to honor him for the Memorial Day parade. There was a float honoring Vietname Vets and since he is no longer with us, this portrait went along with the rest of the area Vets. what a cool idea,, thanks for sharing
Those are so nice!!
Those are fantastic! Did you do the blow up and then photo transfer??
yes, these are processed through our software to the size we want then printed. We make all corrections or changes we want, color adjustment, background change. cutting out what is not wanted or needed. Thanks for looking
May I ask what software package you use to do this?
Those are both quite impressive.
Very nice indeed. Thanks for sharing such wonderful items.

actually it is one that is rather old but I am so used toit I hate to change and have tolearn another. It is LivePix. I don't know if it is still available but any photo editing software should be able to do these. I just don't like to change when I get used something. I put in the size I want to print in the custom size brackett slot. There are 20 to 25 photo sheets in these. They could go larger if wanted and they take a lot of ink.

Gorgeous portraits !! What a treasure ! Boggles my mind. I thought I had done something really special when I did 5 x 7s.
Wow -- those are absolutely stunning :!:
There are no words for these. Absolutely breath taking. How are the pictures done on these? I have a sister who has a son in the Army and I would love to do one for her. Where do I find out how to do this? Thx for sharing.

Awesome!!!
ouch, makes me cry.. the first one.. lots of our dads are not with us around the time of the first picture.
Both are wonderful. spent more time looking at little girl.. so precious. Thanks for sharing ! |
You gals with the great computer savvy can do it at home. I'm a duck, so I brought muslin to our local print shop and told her what I wanted to do. She printed my snapshots (enlarged some of them) giving me plenty of space for seams etc.
very creative
Great job!

These are stunning. Such wonderful works of art. You inspire me to try this too. May I ask, "Did you use purchased fabric printing sheets or did you treat your own fabric." I am awestruck. They are so perfect. If only I could..... Yolanda Wood River
