I like to try out new patterns, new techniques, or do practice stitches by making potholders...they are small, and can be done with your leftover scraps......and very usefull when you are done.....I just use regular batting (a couple of layers) and regular, left over, scrap fabric to make them......then, if one gets dirty with bad stains, etc I dont feel bad about throwing them away...I can always make more.......

Your potholders are very nice. I like to make some out of scraps to give as presents. They work up quickly and I get to use up some of my little pieces of fabric. You did a great job on the binding.

Good job on the pot holders! I make mine too, usually from left over blocks or those with mistakes. I use 3 layers of cotton batting,cotton backing fabric and a cotton binding.
