you put the tape measure in the top casing this way )( and it will snap open and stay shut...very neat....buy them at the dollar store cheap and you have yards and yards

Right...out of one of the $ tree tapes I got 14 bags...the one in the picture that I did is larger..purse size so I needed 1" wide tape and used 2 pieces for each side...good strong snap
