I like what you did here - the feathers are great - In this case alot of quilting works well. I am a novice for sure but I am curious has anyone ever tried to quilt the binding after its put on I know a piece has to be quilted before you add the binding due to shrinkage etc but then can the binding be attached and then quilted - I just think on a piece like this the "flat" look of the binding would take away from it.

you seem like an adventerous soul - why not try it on a scrap piece and let me know pm if you will - i always have trouble finding things again lol thanks cheryl :thumbup:
