Quilted Twisted Roses
3 Attachment(s)
This quilt was so fun to make! I found it relaxing to create each rose individually, and then place on my design wall and watch the garden grow! About halfway through, I decided to turn the blocks on point. Then, I broke out the twin needle for the border quilting using variegated threads. I really like the effect on the 1" strip.

Awesome! Love that border fabric too. Looks great.

The roses are cool; are they paper pieced?

Pretty quilt!

Beautiful! That border fabric is perfect for your blocks.

Your quilt is just beautiful. You did a great job with those roses. And, I love the double needle quilting. It makes the quilt just that much more special.

What beautiful vibrant quilt! Love the border fabric.

Thanks all! It is not paper pieced. https://www.quiltingboard.com/tutori...s-t318777.html this is the link to a tutorial that I posted to accompany the youtube video. I found that I can follow video better if I create shorthand-ish notes, so I shared them. It has the link to the video. I selected a printed piece of fabric, then 3 solids to coordinate. That was actually playing with my fabrics!

Great combination of colors. Never would have thought to double stitch, but it works!
