You will probably be better to sell the pattern, you can sell to a lot more people with out all of the labor,
I would change the design a little to have the opening for the board in the middle and not on the side, for sewing purposes it is easier to put in and less chance of the board slipping out if you tip the bag. |

I agree if it's going to be available mostly to quilters, they will figure it out, and make one.
If taught in a class, to newbies, you could make more, and selling the pattern, for 8.00 sounds like the going price these days. That is cute fabric. :D |

i know exactly what you mean when you suggest that most quilters will look it over to figure out how to make their own. it's the sort of item i sure wouldn't buy from somebody else. that's why i had no clue what somebody would be willing to pay if they were in the mood to treat themselves. you all have helped me figure out how to calculate the price. i hadn't considered trying to sell the pattern. thanks for the idea. i will put an instruction booklet together soon. watch for me in classifieds ... a week or two from now ... as i make a blatant attempt to divert your hard earned $$$ away from your LQS. :wink: :lol: |
