Just finished the top for Quilters Cache Annie's Choice Quilt. I love it even if I did make it myself. It's scrappy as you can see and is going to look great on our antique bed downstairs. Our kitty thought he needed to be in on the "action." Isn't he beautiful? :lol: :lol: Feathers

Its great....This is what I call a quilt well done.....and well designed....

Here's the thing, Patrice...I have a brand X husband and I have my wonderful husband now..."both told/tell everyone they don't dare get out of bed to go potty because Feathers will make the bed while I'm out of the room!" I can't stand an unmade bed!) :x .......DH was still in bed when I decided to take the picture of the quilt top this morning so I draped the quilt top on the couch so as not to disturb him. We're retired so he gets to sleep in til noon ifen he wants :lol: :lol:

Eventually, the quilt WILL find the bed.

Loretta: Yes, it's plain black cotton sashing. It sure sets off the colors in the quilt.

Chele: We think our kitty is pretty, too. His tail is 15 inches long! I don't think any other cat has ever grown such a long tail. He was a foster who was starving when we got him at 3 weeks old. His brother's got adopted but he hid out and wouldn't let anyone near him so we decided he was going to adopt us!

You asked if the stars in the quilt were made with half square triangles? Yes. It's an easy, easy pattern but you have to make sure and LOOK at where the colors are as it's easy to put the colors wrong side up and notice it ONLY after you've sewn 3 sections together...been there! Done that!

Celeste: I agree with you, the quilt really does make the kitty's coat look wonderful! :P
