Here's a picture of a flimsy I've made with aboriginal fabrics I received as a gift. They were too nice to cut up small. I love it so far but now I've no idea how to quilt it! Please give me some ideas, please for machine quilting on a domestic machine. I do do free machining but nothing as intricate as feathers!

Doris, your quilt is beautiful. I think stippling around the circles would be complementary to it and maybe stitching around some of the shapes in the circles. It's a really beautiful quilt.

wow, what a wonderful way to showcase these beautiful fabrics! You did a great job!!! I agree with Quilter7x...stippling around the circles and stitching around some of the shapes would look nice. You've got a gorgeous quilt there!!!

large spirals in each circle and stipple outside the circles. Looks great!

curved crosshatching in the background of the circles, spirals in the circles, and pebbles in the solid blocks.

I'd use hundred of spirals of different sizes. It's a universal symbol but shows up often in aboriginal cultures as well. Cool as background filler. Sort of like:
