Here's a picture of a flimsy I've made with aboriginal fabrics I received as a gift. They were too nice to cut up small. I love it so far but now I've no idea how to quilt it! Please give me some ideas, please for machine quilting on a domestic machine. I do do free machining but nothing as intricate as feathers!

Doris, your quilt is beautiful. I think stippling around the circles would be complementary to it and maybe stitching around some of the shapes in the circles. It's a really beautiful quilt.

I'd use hundred of spirals of different sizes. It's a universal symbol but shows up often in aboriginal cultures as well. Cool as background filler. Sort of like:
