Using the LA or DHM, I couldn't decide.
MTB want simple retro look so I went with DHM. By the time it's finished it will have a 'mid century' look to it. http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...p-t217724.html |
It is looking good on your sewing machine but if I had my own long arm I would use it. Very pretty!

@ post # 19, quilt queen: The light is going on forty years old. It was my DM who used it for her embroidery work.
It came to me along with all her goodies. It is weird what becomes sentimental to us. This lamp has been in service to me about fifteen years and seen all my creativity through those years. It was originally purchased at a small needle craft store in Cranberry, NJ. Anybody know of it? It would be about forty years ago. I'm sure lamps like it are still available if you look in office supply stores. It is a floor lamp on wheels and the magnifier lamp adjusts every which way. Back then it cost somewhere in the range of $150.00. All that is left of the name plate is: Model 1450 HD All that is left of the company name is: Daz__ r_____ Corp. St. Louis, MO. Don't know what letters in the blank spaces are. |
Great job...love it...
