I'm very new to machine quilting. Terrified and terrible, actually! LOL! I read a thread on basting spray and wanted to try it, so I made a simple runner. I didn't quilt the runner much, but the spray really helped me keep everything together with no puckers! Woo hoo! :D I think I may need 10-15 years more practice, but I'm willing!

Chele, I love your table runner and the great fabric selection. I made this runner several years ago. Hope I can find it so that I can make it again. You have inspired me and I am going to spray baste on my next project. Thanks for the great tip.

It looks fantastic.

Gorgeous, girl!! You know it's way easier with the spray but old habits die hard with me, I still hand or pin baste after I spray. I don't know if it's really necessary, but I still do it.

Your work is wonderful! Branch out, take on a Queen or King size!!! :-)
Hugs,
Sharon

That's really really nice! Now I wish I had thought of it when I did the placemats. Would have saved me plenty of time on pinning.

Like you, I'm "terrified and terrible" doing the quilting but I'm getting better and find that the new walking foot I got for my machine makes all the difference in the world...I'm now feeling a bit more "comfy" about doing some quilting and I'm not AS WORRIED that I'm going to have a bunch of owees on the back! Your tablerunner is great.

I haven't been using it so now that my "cage is rattled" I will. Your tablerunner is great...love the name and your work looks wonderful. Thanks for sharing.
