I have the top finished. It is all flying Geese in rows. How do you quilt this? Ties would look awful but I have absolutely no clue what kind of design. Any suggestions would be most welcome. This is a doll quilt.
I have lost my instructions for binding the gold tablerunner. Does anyone have any ideas? How do you do the inverted triangles? Stumped Flying Geese Doll |
I really like the last picture with the stars. I have a hard time getting the points right so I give up. But I still have all the peices cut out and are now a PIGS. Occasionally I take it out and try again. But my patience wears out easily.

Sorry can't help with finishing the table topper- but wanted to say your flying geese is so pretty

For the doll quilt, I would do a simple stitch-in-the ditch around the rectangles and along each side of the border. Just enough to meet the minimum quilting requirements for the batt that you use.
For the stars, I would do a big feather wreath in the two larger stars, SITD around the outside of each star and leaves and tendrils in the background fabric. |
Both are beautiful.

Lovely! Can't help wit5h the runner either. I see your issue tho ;)

What a nice job on both of your little quilts! I would do great big loops Q the FG bouncing from side to side up and down the vertical rows. The curvy quilting would enhance the FG I think. Even a gentle wave through the middle of the FG would be nice. Then I would QITD on the borders. Don't know about the topper. BOL to you! :D :D ;)
