Your rings are speaking to me. I truly love them. Is this something you created on your own or did you find this idea somewhere else. I love batiks and this quilt just makes me drool. Gorgeous.

Actually, I didn't use a pattern. I just traced around a flip-flop, sort of guessed at the strap portion and away I went. This was fun cause I used all of my bright scraps. Even though you can't see it in the picture, I embroidered things on some of the straps. I don't have an embroidery machine - just used the small print on my Bernina.
Oops, forgot to say that everything is appliqued by machine so it didn't take long to make. |
